My highly successful county fair photos of my youth led me to believe that I would always be a talented photographer, but that has proven false in my adulthood. I hate lugging a camera around and I especially hate gathering people up for group photos.
Returning from Costa Rica in 2010, I found that all I had pictures of were parked cars, nameless buildings, a giant Cheshire Cat, and selfies of my peeling lobster face.
Here I am in 2014 having just returned from a Caribbean cruise and not much has changed, but I think I’ve captured the essence of the trip.
Some drunk girl knocked that shot glass off the table…
